Some web sites are using “cookies” to get the personal data of the visitor. Cookies are written by a Web site on a visitor’s hard drive. It is provided especially for the web site to search the visitor and can compile a file of personal data of any individuals. The Web site can then use these data to display personalized information, and they may offer this information to advertisers without the knowledge of their visitors.

Search engines
Some of search engines (eg:Google) remember the search data of users according to I.P. address. It is possible for someone to find out the users interests or plans based on the keywords have been searching for on a search engine.
